Airplanes

  • Aeroflot’s fleet, which is among Europe’s most modern, youngest and fastest growing, consists of 120 aircrafts, with its backbone formed by modern Airbus A320-family, A330 and Boeing B767 airliners.
  • In 2007, Aeroflot signed multi-billion US dollar deals to buy 22 Boeing B787 Dreamliners, with start since 2016, and 22 Airbus A350 jets since 2018.
  • In 2008, Aeroflot started receiving Airbus A330 aircraft, which are dramatically enhanced the airline’s long-haul capabilities and standard of service.
  • In 2011, Aeroflot and Boeing announced orders for 16 Boeing B777-300ERs and B777-200ERs.
  • In June 2011, Aeroflot received its first Sukhoi SuperJet-100s, a new-generations Russian-built aircraft (the airline has 30 SSJ-100 regional jets on order, plus intent to buy 10 more). Aeroflot Group, considering its growth prospects, is to acquire the total of 126 modern Russian-built aircraft of various types through 2020.
